How to Replace Brake Rotors on a 2021 Mustang

Tools Required: 

✔ Jack and jack stands 

✔ Lug wrench 

✔ Socket and ratchet set

✔ Wire brush 

✔ Brake cleaner 

✔ Torque wrench

Installation Steps:

  1. Lift and Secure the Vehicle, then remove wheels.

  2. Remove Caliper and Bracket, and suspend the caliper with a hanger.

  3. Remove the Old Rotor, cleaning the hub surface thoroughly.

  4. Install the New Rotor, making sure it sits flush.

  5. Reinstall the Caliper Bracket and Caliper, torque all bolts to spec.

  6. Repeat as Needed, then bed in your new rotors properly.
